Michelle's debut short film she wrote, produced and played the lead, has been accepted into its first film festival.
Absolute fantastic news for Michelle and the whole team of her first short film, THE WICK, having just secured its first 'Official Selection' to kick start its festival journey with 'Twister Alley Film Festival' in Oklahoma, USA.
Michelle has been working tirelessly the past few years with some amazingly talented people, to tell this extremely topical story of persecution, female empowerment and radicalization. Michelle plays the lead, alongside the veteran British actor, IAN REDDINGTON (Dr Who, Outlander, Eastenders) in this period thriller about a women accused of witchcraft. Mr Reddington gives a powerful performance of a corrupt clergyman in this #MeTo and #TimesUp short. Directed by the up and coming female director, SABINE CROSSEN, edited by the 'Oscar nominated' KANT PAN (The Crying Game, The Fly) with an original score by the award winning composer, HOLLIE BUHAGIAR
